Parents and carers play an important role in supporting young people’s career decisions. We encourage families to discuss interests, strengths, college and sixth-form options, apprenticeships, technical education, vocational courses, work experience, labour market information, entry requirements and longer-term career goals.

Parents and carers who would like support with their child’s career planning can contact the Careers Leader. We also welcome parent/carer feedback as part of our evaluation of the careers programme.
