14. Measuring the Impact of Our Careers Programme

Waterside Academy regularly evaluates the quality and impact of its careers programme. Evidence used may include:

  • Pupil voice
  • Parent/carer feedback
  • Employer and provider feedback
  • Records of careers activities and encounters
  • Work experience participation and reflection
  • Individual careers guidance records and agreed actions
  • Gatsby Benchmark / Compass evaluation
  • Destination data
  • NEET information
  • College, apprenticeship and training applications
  • Staff feedback

Evaluation is used to identify strengths, gaps and priorities for improvement. The Careers Leader reports on progress to senior leaders and the governing body.
