  • Jamie Broad Inspires Waterside Students

    Published 06/11/25

We were thrilled to welcome Liverpool-based rapper and poet Jamie Broad to Waterside Academy for an unforgettable assembly and workshop. Jamie captivated students with his passion for rhyme, rhythm, and self-expression, showing how creative writing and music can be powerful tools for communication and confidence.

During the interactive sessions, students explored the art of lyricism, experimented with beats, and discovered how words can tell stories and express emotions. Jamie’s engaging approach encouraged everyone to find their voice and celebrate individuality through creativity.

The energy and enthusiasm in the room were incredible, and the feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive. We look forward to hosting more inspiring workshops like this in the future!
