3. Our Careers Programme

Waterside Academy provides a progressive careers programme which develops as pupils move through the school. Careers is not a single event: it is built through curriculum learning, personal guidance, employer and provider encounters, workplace experiences, extended curriculum activities and transition support.

Year 9

Careers linked to curriculum and option choices; personalised support; college/training-provider encounters; employers; apprenticeships and technical routes; workplace experiences; LMI.

Year 10
