Waterside Academy is developing a modern work experience programme that gives pupils multiple meaningful opportunities to understand workplaces and the skills needed for employment. Experiences can be accumulated across Key Stages 3 and 4 rather than relying only on one traditional placement.

Pupils are encouraged to reflect on what they have learned, the skills they have developed and how each experience may influence future choices.
