School Uniform

At Waterside Academy, we believe our school uniform promotes a sense of belonging and ensures pupils are dressed appropriately and comfortably for the school day.

Our compulsory school uniform consists of:

• Waterside Academy branded training jersey (T-shirt)
• Waterside Academy branded ¼-zip mid-layer
• Black or navy tracksuit bottoms or leggings, which do not need to be branded and may be purchased from any retailer
• Black or navy shorts may also be worn. These do not need to be branded; Waterside Academy branded shorts are available as an optional alternative.

To help minimise the cost of school uniform, each pupil is provided with one Waterside Academy ¼-zip mid-layer and two Waterside Academy T-shirts free of charge. Additional branded uniform can be purchased through the school office.

Pre-Loved Uniform

Waterside Academy maintains a stock of good-quality pre-loved school uniform, which is available to families free of charge or at a reduced cost. Parents and carers who would like to request pre-loved uniform should contact the school office. Requests will be handled sensitively and confidentially.

We are committed to keeping the cost of school uniform as low as possible and ensuring that uniform requirements do not create an unreasonable financial burden for families. If the cost of uniform is causing difficulty, parents and carers are encouraged to contact the school so that appropriate support can be considered.
